Supermodel Jessica Hart is expecting her first child with boyfriend James Kirkham.

Hart, 34, posted the happy news on Thursday morning on Instagram holding up a pregnancy test with the caption: “I woke up like this.”

She added: “We’re so super duper excited about this awesome news, especially at this time and amongst the mainly bleak news out there. What a blessing. We’re so unbelievably grateful and happy!”

She added a plea for fans to donate to a good cause, fellow model Christy Turlington Burns’ Every Mother Counts.

Hart said of her pregnancy: “It makes me think deeply about all the other mothers-to-be out there [who are] struggling with access to doctors and healthcare at this time. I’d really love if everyone can JOIN ME in donating to @everymomcounts. Anything you can give really helps.”

Aussie model Hart left New York after 15 years in February to move to Los Angeles with Kirkham. She shared with fans in February: “I bought a house and I’m stoked!” The couple is currently renovating their Hollywood Hills home, and Hart had previously hinted that she planned to start a family after their move to LA.

Hart is the former Victoria’s Secret and Sports Illustrated model-turned-entrepreneur who created the natural Luma Beauty line. She’s also walked in fashion shows for Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton and Max Mara, among others.

Kirkham is a former race car driver, and the co-founder of Donut Media and Race Service. He also has a daughter from a previous relationship.
