Neighbours is back! The popular Aussie soap, which was axed by Channel 5 last year, has debuted on Amazon Freevee, the free and user-friendly service which saved the long-running drama from the axe, with a brand new episode streaming now.
Our hearts are full.
Having seen the outpouring of support for Neighbours in the wake of its cancellation, Freevee acted quickly, resuscitating the show shortly after the ‘finale’ aired and before any harm could come to the sets.
Production recommenced in April, shortly after the sold out and critically acclaimed Celebration Tour concluded, with a host of fan-favourite stars having signed on to reprise their roles.
The eagerly-anticipated new series, which also sees the return of Guy Peace as Mike Young and the addition of The OC star Mischa Barton, has finally premiered, with the first offering having dropped on Freevee at 7am today,Monday, September 18.

The episode in question is one that will send fans into meltdown, with a major twist on the cards that’s set to change everything.
Set two years after the star-studded finale, Neighbours’ new chapter finds the residents of Ramsay Street in high spirits as they prepare for a wedding.
How to watch Neighbours when it returns on Amazon Freevee
Amazon Freevee is a free ad-supported streaming service which offers a wide range of movies and TV programmes for just about anyone.
It is very easy to use and can be accessed on a web browser via the official Amazon website, or on a mobile device, smart TV or games console via either the Prime Video or Freevee apps – some services carry both, so you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Android TVs, Apple TVs and Google TVs also have the Freevee app, so if you possess any of these devices you’ll be able to stream Neighbours to your heart’s content.
Simply head to Amazon.co.uk if you’re in the UK or Amazon.com for US users and create your free account.
Once you’re registered, simply type in Neighbours and voila, let the binge-watching commence!
