Parents of UK’s biggest family visit secret spot for 30th wedding anniversary

Parents of the biggest family in the UK celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in style.

Noel and Sue Radford took a special trip to a secret location to mark their pearl anniversary.

The couple, from Morecambe, Lancashire, spent their day with poignant gifts to toast the special occasion.

Rarely do the Radfords spend time without their 22 kids, which meant they enjoyed a rare child-free occasion.

They made the decision to book the break after Sue visited a medium on holiday who told her to take time for herself.

And then the mum decided to put it to a vote on Instagram where they have 491,000 followers, reports LancsLive.

The response was on an overwhelming yes with 98% urging the pair to go and spend quality time together.

Since arriving at their destination, which has not yet been revealed, the couple shared snaps online.

The pair shared food and the cosy setting, saying they had the "best day" celebrating.

Sue said: "We had the best day yesterday celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary.

"We finished the day off with a beautiful meal in the most beautiful setting I've ever seen."

The mum also revealed Noel had bought her a thoughtful gift, despite agreeing not to do presents.

So she posted a snap on Instagram of her wearing a beautiful pearl bracelet.

She wrote: "Love my pearl wedding anniversary present from Noel. Thank you so much it's beautiful.

"Even thought we did say no presents."

The couple also paid tribute to their stillborn son, Alfie, on the trip.

They wrote his name in the sand followed by a heart, writing a caption: "Where ever we go, you go."

In July 2014, the Radford family were devastated when the couple's 17th child, Alfie, was stillborn.

At their three month scan, the doctor was unable to find the baby's heartbeat.
