The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have shared new images of their daughter Lilibet to promote the second half of their explosive Netflix docuseries, which will be released on Thursday.

trailer released by the streaming giant this morning shows Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, enjoying family time with their children Archie, three, and Lilibet, one.

The family is seen spending time together, with the trailer showing images from their life in Montecito, California, from birthdays to trips by the beach and playing in their backyard.

And Lilibet – known as Lili, who was born in the US on June 4, 2021 – is featured or referenced multiple times throughout the clip, with one segment showing the one-year-old taking wobbly steps with the help of her mother Meghan.

In a trailer released this morning, Harry and Meghan shared more glimpses into their family life at home in Montecito, California, including unseen images of their one-year-old daughter Lilibet

A clip shows the small royal taking her first steps with the help of her mother, who is holding her by the arms.

Meanwhile another snap shows Lili sitting atop her father’s shoulders in the trailer, as the family of four makes their way towards Frogmore Cottage.

Elsewhere in the trailer, the couple’s pregnancy announcement, which was shared with the world on Valentine’s Day last year, is seen.

And the promo also gives a glimpse into Lilibet’s first birthday celebration, which took place in the UK this summer when the couple were visiting the UK for the Queen’s jubilee.

A previously unseen clip in the docuseries shows Meghan helping her daughter Lilibet take wobbly steps around their garden

Before the release of the trailer, few images of Lilibet (pictured) had been released by the couple. The second official portrait of one-year-old (pictured) was released during the Platinum Jubilee this year, on the youngster’s first birthday

When Lili was born last year, there was some debate over her name, which in full is Lilibeth Diana Mountbatten Windsor, in honour of the Queen, Harry’s grandmother, and his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.

According to some sources, some members of the Royal Family were less than impressed with the couple choosing the use the moniker.

The rare name, which is based on the way the young Princess Elizabeth pronounced her name when she first began to talk, was very personal, and used only by a small number of people – notably her father King George V and husband Prince Philip.

But according to Gyles Brandreth, author of new book Elizabeth: An Intimate Portrait, the Queen took the Sussexes naming their daughter Lilibet as the ‘compliment it was intended to be’.

A blink-and-you’ll-miss-it-clip shows Meghan beaming at the camera in a home movie with one of their children

Mr Brandreth writes that some members of the Firm found the use of the name ‘bewildering’ and ‘rather presumptuous’ as it had always been ‘intimately and exclusively the Queen’s’.

But, he adds, the Queen accepted the choice with ‘good grace’.

She is reported as saying: ‘I hear they’re calling her ‘Lili’, which is very pretty and seems just right.’

Lilibet is seventh in line to the throne following the death of the Queen, one place behind her big brother Archie.

Until the release of their Netflix docuseries, Harry and Meghan chose to keep their children largely out of the spotlight, with few pictures of Lilibet being seen.

The first official public image of the one-year-old was released on December 23 last year on the Sussex family’s Christmas card.

Then a solo image of Lilibet was released on her first birthday this year, during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Archi, three, is also seen in a sweet video of him running to Meghan’s arms in a corn field in the US

Now the latest trailer for the series has shown more intimate imagery of the one-year-old and her family.

Further images in the trailer released today also feature Lilibeth’s big brother Archie, with one clip shot in California showing him running around in a corn field until he reaches his mother’s arms, with Meghan lovingly scooping him up.

And another close up picture shows a beaming Meghan wearing a woollen hat and holding one of her children, who can be seen wearing a beige woollen hat as well.
