Princess Beatrice celebrated her birthday earlier this month with a fairytale-style garden party, according to her Sarah Ferguson.
The late Queen’s granddaughter, who is a niece of King Charles, turned 35 on August 8, marking the date with a fairy picnic which she enjoyed with her one-year-old daughter Sienna.
Details of the ‘magical’ day were shared by the Duchess of York, 63, in a recent episode of her lifestyle podcast Tea Talks with Sarah.
The royal shared a snippet of the pod on her Instagram page, where she and co-host Sarah Thomson discussed some of the whimsical details of the day, including a fairy hunt.
Sarah told her co-host: ‘I hid many different fairies in the garden and I sent Sienna on a fairytale hunt to find the fairies with wings on.

‘She’d lasted with the wings for quite a while before Beatrice and had I put the wings on and then we had a fairy picnic once she’d found all the fairies’.
The duchess appeared delighted as she discussed the fun she’d enjoyed with her granddaughter and daughter.
Sarah also described the themed party as the most ‘magical day for Beatrice’s birthday’.

Complimenting Fergie on her planning skills, one person wrote: ‘I love that. Fairy picnic. Such a great Mum and grandma’.

To celebrate the milestone birthday, Sarah posted a touching tribute to her daughter on August 8.
She took to her Instagram account to post two throwback images with the royal.
‘Happy birthday Beatrice. You’ll always be my girl,’ wrote the mother-of-two alongside a love heart emoji.
