A celebrity chef and restaurateur is charging up to £2,580 for a three-night Christmas break package.
Rick Stein, 76, often offers two-night stays in the winter months at his 16 stunning guest rooms above his flagship restaurant in Cornwall, however the cost usually ranges from as little as £90 per head, per night, in a room for two people.
This means a two-night trip usually starts from £360 in one of their ‘Cosy and Comfy Deluxe rooms’ and includes a three course lunch at his posh flagship eatery The Seafood Restaurant, in Padstow.
Also included in the ‘Winter Warmer Stay’ is cod and chips tea at one of his upmarket chippies and breakfast each morning.
But during the festive period the prices have rocketed with the cheapest option for the ‘Christmas Break’ being the ‘Cosy’ accommodation, which is £1,845 for a three-night package based on two people sharing a room.
