Royal Mail free Santa letter 2022 – how to get a personalised reply from Father Christmas | The Sun

CHILDREN can get a personalised letter from Father Christmas if they write to him within the next month.

Santa will respond to kids as long as they've written to him by December 9 – just in time for Christmas.

Royal Mail has partnered with Hallmark to help deliver Father Christmas' replies.

If you want to write to him, send the letter to; Father Christmas, Santa's Grotto, Reindeerland, XM4 5HQ.

The deadline for sending your letters is Friday, December 9 or Friday, December 2 if you're posting the letter as part of a school.

If you send after these dates then Santa may not be able to reply so make sure to give him the best chance to get back to you this festive period.

Make sure the address is written clearly on the envelope so it doesn't get lost.

Include your own full name and address in the letter so Father Christmas knows who to reply to.

Don't forget you will need to pay for postage to send the letter but you don't need to include a return envelope or stamp inside.

It's a good idea to post your note with plenty of time before the December 2 or 9 deadline as it's a busy time of year for the postal service – and for Santa Claus.

Replies will be sent out from November 21 – but you should wait ten days for your response to arrive as Santa has a lot of children to write to.

If you can't wait for Father Christmas' response, then you can download the card he'll send to you on the Royal Mail website.

If you're interesting in making a charitable donation through your letter to Santa then the NSPCC can also ask him to write to you in exchange for sending a bit of money to the charity.

You don't need to write to Father Christmas to get a reply, you can just personalist a template on the NSPCC website.

A donation of £8 is suggested as this will help ensure that Childline stays open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Other dates to watch out for ahead of Christmas
