Sephora’s first UK store details including exact location and opening date

We were delighted when Sephora’s UK website finally launched last year, but rather than satiating our appetite it simply left us longing for more. So we’re salivating at the news we’ve all been waiting for – confirmation of exactly when and where the beauty destination is opening its first actual, in real life store on these shores. Whoop!

It won’t surprise you to hear that the first place in the UK where we’ll be walking through that iconic black and white striped facade will be in London. However, if you put your bets on the West End, you’ve lost your money because Sephora will be heading to the capital’s buzziest new media district.

Sephora is making its UK debut with a glamorous store at Westfield London, near White City in west London. Located at the heart of one of Europe’s largest shopping destinations, shoppers can expect a 6,000+ sq ft flagship store showcasing over 135 brands hand-picked for UK beauty aficionados.

Sephora’s London playground will be instantly recognisable from the outside, with its signature striped monochrome facade. However the interior will be something totally unique for the UK, with soft geometric shapes, ambient lighting, textured finishes and greenery to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. So, Sephora does cosy, basically. Yup, we’re here for that!

There’s not long to wait until you can check it out for yourself. The London store is confirmed to open in March this year, and the brand is teasing us with the promise of “an extraordinary opening day”. When we have more details we’ll let you know!

The heart of the store will be a “Grand Beauty Hub” combining personal services and techy digital displays to help you explore Sephora’s makeup, skincare, haircare and fragrance offerings.

The 135 brands to shop in-store include many that are exclusive to Sephora, including Makeup by Mario, GXVE by Gwen Stefani, ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starr, Vegamour, Skinfix, Commodity and its own-brand SEPHORA COLLECTION. It’ll also be the only place you can physically get your mitts on brands like Tarte, Supergoop!, Danessa Myricks, Kosas and Glow Recipe, rather than just buying them online.

Who else is up for a mammoth swatching session?
