On Sunday, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge sailed to victory with the British sailing team against New Zealand. Kate took part in the SailGP competition alongside Olympian Sir Ben Ainslie on an F50 catamaran. Known as the sportiest royal, Kate took the event in her stride, donning shorts and at one point a wetsuit.

Wearing a suitably nautical top and a pair of white shorts, Kate waved to the crowds as she arrived at the 1851 Trust and the Great Britain SailGP site.

Before the activities started, Kate took time to chat with the incredibly successful Olympic sailor, Sir Ben Ainslie.

Ready for the race, Kate wore a GBR wetsuit and a matching hat while carrying her helmet for the competition.

On the back of her wetsuit, the word ‘Cambridge’ was emblazoned in tribute to her Duchess title.
