The annual shopping event known as Black Friday is always the Friday after Thanksgiving in the US, this year, that date falls on November 24.
The now globally recognised event was once purely celebrated in America but has since become the biggest shopping event of the year in most countries.

When is Cyber Monday 2023 and is Very taking part?
Cyber Monday falls on November 27 this year and is usually the final day of the Cyber Weekend of deals.
However, recently, many retailers have chosen to extend their offers past Cyber Monday and into December – giving shoppers a chance to bag a last-minute Christmas bargain.
How much does Very's delivery cost?
Very offers free click-and-collect services in Collect+ stores or Post Offices for orders over £30, but if your order is under £30 there is a £3 fee.
Standard delivery costs £3.99 and if you're in a hurry, next-day delivery costs £4.99.

Very offers select discounts for NHS staff year all round through the Health Service Discounts scheme.
