A young woman who was bullied for years in school has wowed millions after debuting her incredible ‘glow up’ transformation. 

Liv Ralph, from London, lost more than 30kg after being tormented at school by bullies who would tell her to ‘get some style’, ‘lose weight’ and ‘stop looking like Hagrid’. 

The 25-year-old has gained a loyal following online for sharing her weight loss journey but admits the bullying has left her ‘obsessed with her looks’.

During high school, Liv was teased by the ‘popular boys’ who would flirt with her as a joke and some students would compare her to ‘Hagrid’ with her bushy, long brown hair. 

Now, Liv is completely unrecognisable with sleek blonde hair, a trim figure and a whole new sense of style. 

She has been sharing her before-and-after photos in videos posted to TikTok, one of which as more than 5.4million views, shocking hundreds of her followers who are struggling to believe they are of the same person.

‘I’m really sorry people called you that. I can tell you were beautiful either way. Look at that inner smile. People are so mean,’ one woman said. 

‘You always looked beautiful but what’s more important is once you’re happy on the inside that matters,’ another responded. 

Liv shared what she’s learnt since going through the drastic transformation but said the things people said to her at school have left a lasting effect. 

She said since losing weight, she’s noticed men now give her ‘the time of day’, listen to her and take her seriously.

‘Sadly, I’m now led to believe that my worth is now tied to how I look…so I’ll never stop obsessing over my appearance,’ she admitted adding her ‘true’ friends love her ‘all the same’

‘I’ll never forget how it feels to be ‘the fat ugly friend’ and I’ll spend the rest of my life avoiding that feeling,’ she wrote in a video.

Liv said she is no longer viewed as the laughing stock among her friends for ‘people’s entertainment’.
