Freeview has announced the launch of something new on its service and it will certainly please anyone who speaks the Welsh language. From this week, Freeview’s online Play platform gets the S4C Clic channel which includes dramas, documentaries and sporting action which are all broadcast in Welsh.
The announcement of the player’s new home on Freeview Play follows a landmark deal between S4C and “adopted Welshman” and Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds to deliver Welsh culture, language and talent to the US. The launch of S4C Clic also coincides with the channel’s coverage of the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show.
Anyone wanting to tune in will now find S4C Clic via any devices that have access to Freeview Play with this service now featured on the homepage.
