If you have Virgin Media’s TV 360 and Stream devices in your living room there’s good news. From now until December 27 a swathe of festive movies will be available to watch and it won’t cost a penny extra to tune in. Virgin says that the Christmas action will be shown via its Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) service which can be found on channel 245.
A total of 20 films are being shown throughout the day and night including Welcome to Christmas, Marry Me at Christmas and Holidaze.
“Virgin TV customers can immerse themselves in round-the-clock shows and Christmas movies throughout December with Love Christmas FAST channel on Virgin TV,” the firm explained

Once Christmas is over, the FAST channel will return to its usual Love Drama content which offers a mix of scripted drama including romance, mystery, thrillers and holiday-themed programming.
Virgin now has a total of 14 FAST channels on its platform which all launched earlier this year and don’t require a monthly subscription to watch.
All you need is a Virgin set-top box to gain access. It’s certainly a good time to get TV for free with a new service also about to launch from the team at Everyone TV.

Called Freely, this platform makes it easy to watch shows, sports and movies without paying. That’s thanks to Freely being accessed via the web rather than using an aerial or Sky-style dish.
All the usual live and on-demand content from providers such as the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 will be available via Freely and there’s even been the announcement that TVs from Hisense will come with the new service pre-loaded.
“The new service will deliver the best live and on-demand content from public service broadcasters and other free-to-air channels all in one place over broadband, for free for the first time,” Freely confirmed.
It’s expected to launch early next year.
