39 Emmerdale pictures: huge villain returns, Dan fate sealed & Gabby's new flame

Emmerdale spoiler pictures for next week confirm a shocking courtroom decision with huge ramifications, a touching gesture to those who lost their lives in the deadly storm and a shock new obsession kicks off.

Just your average week in the Dales then.

If you’re keen for a first look at all the action, drama and everything else in-between, Metro.co.uk has a jam-packed picture gallery, boasting 39 snaps of all the jaw-dropping scenes to come.

The week in question is a big one for Dan Spencer (Liam Fox), who awaits news of Lloyd’s condition. But that’s not all that’s on his mind as his court hearing subsequently commences and Amelia (Daisy Campbell) is stunned when Julie, Lloyd’s wife, shows up at the proceedings.

Dan is overwhelmed by guilt and, in a shock move, pleads guilty, leaving Amelia absolutely devastated.

Elsewhere in the village, Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) and Suni Sharma (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana) share a kiss in the cafe, but the pair are left feeling guilty when they find out that Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) witnessed their moment of passion.

Gabby proceeds to get drunk and confronts Nicky once more, and goes in for a punch – but she winds up hitting Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) instead! Billy, despite ending up wounded, doesn’t hold any grudges and instead consoles Gabby, who gets the wrong end of the stick, leaning in for a kiss!

Billy promises to keep quiet about what she’s done, but Gabby’s gaze lingers on him a little too long. Is this the beginning of a new obsession for the young businesswoman?

Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler), meanwhile, stuns everyone when she reveals that the new bus stop is a memorial for Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) and Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele), who both tragically lost their lives in the storm last year.

The councillor’s faith in humanity restored by the turnout for the unveiling, with many a resident flocking to see the new bus stop, but things take a horrifying turn when Colin Hamston (Mark Noble) rocks up, demanding the unveiling be started over.

His lacklustre speech results in the crowd dispersing and thus he rages at Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) and Jai Sharma Chris Bisson), with his outburst caught on camera.

Sounds like quite the week, right? We can confirm that it most certainly is and therefore you don’t want to miss a single second of all the drama.

Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday July 31 and Friday August 1 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
