A Place In The Sun buyer had fans on tenterhooks and left "alarm bells ringing" after sharing a concerning confession.

Monday's edition of the Channel 4 series welcomed a potential buyer named Kelly who was looking to purchase a dream holiday home in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria.

The Essex native had intended to purchase the property in hopes of visiting the area with her mother and daughter.

Due to her mother being ill, Kelly was accompanied by her best friend Angie during filming.

While host Scarlette Douglas showed Kelly around five potential properties, viewers quickly grew concerned as the details of Kelly's holiday home aspirations came to light.

Revealing she had a modest budget of £25,000 to purchase a one-bed apartment, Kelly also shared the disclaimer that she had never previously visited the area.

Following the bombshell revelation, fans were left fearing the worst.

One fan wrote: "Never been there before… alarm bells ringing."

Another commented: "£25k budget in a place they’ve never visited and an absentee remote buyer. This is going to be epic."

Meanwhile, a third warned: "This looks like it could go very wrong, very quickly! 25k, never been before and one of the buyers isn't there. I'm here for it."

Despite viewers' concerns, Kelly confirmed that Sunny Beach "exceeded her expectations" and ended up purchasing a holiday home.

Bowled over by the second property she was shown by Scarlette, Kelly ended up purchasing a one-bed apartment situated on the third floor of the Vineyards Resort

The stunning apartment boasted gorgeous panoramic views, and Kelly even managed to bag the property under budget.

Originally priced at £21,818, Kelly closed on the deal with an impressive £20,500 bid.
