DEVASTATING health news was given to Alfie Moon as he was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer.
But following his surgery, planned to give him a chance against the illness, the EastEnders favourite decides to skip town next week.
BBC One viewers have been suspecting Alfie Moon will be leaving Albert Square after being diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Just as speculated by fans of the London-based program, the long-standing character portrayed by Shane Richie is indeed due for an impromptu departure after undergoing surgery.
It all begins as his son Tommy Moon (played by Sonny Kendall) gets ready for his debut fight after turning to boxing in the midst of a behavioural crisis which showed him lashing out physically once again.
However, the young lad is fretting about Alfie turning up to watch.
