ALISON Hammond has revealed her whopper debt and surprisingly normal job before finding telly fame.
The This Morning anchor, 47, spoke candidly about her back-story before becoming a much-loved presenter on Jessie Ware's Table Manners podcast.
Alison dished the gossip on her life pre-Big Brother, the reality TV series where she got her big break in 2002 at the age of 27.
Talking to hosts Jessie and her mum Lennie, she said: "I was in Tunisia, repping, and everyone was reading the papers about Brian Dowling – he had won Big Brother.
"And they were saying 'you should go on Big Brother, you'd win it'.
"And at the time, I had a debt of like £3,000 and at the time I was traumatised by.

"Every time I got paid I just couldn't make that debt go down, so I thought that'd be a good idea to win £70,000 going in a TV show."
While the huge sum of money was granted to the TV show winner, Alison ended up with just £30 expenses per day as lasted just two weeks.
During Alison's series, Kate Lawler scooped the title.
Yet Big Brother became a launchpad for her career as she began working as a presenter on This Morning the same year.

Alison is now best known for hosting This Morning on a Friday along with Dermot O'Leary.
She has won the hearts of the nation with her informal, down to earth interview style on This Morning, and bubbly personality, which has led to a huge range of TV offers and presenting opportunities.
She has made a significant amount from her appearances on numerous reality shows and This Morning as well as lending her face to brands such as Crown Bingo and DFS Furnishings.
As of 2022, the TV star is estimated to be worth anywhere in between £1 to £4million.
Her celebrity interviews and show's appearances have even gone viral with various pranks and hysterical moments.
Alison has even invited her This Morning BFF to her home for Christmas this year.
