Alison Hammond snapped "get to the point" at a This Morning guest as she and Dermot O'Leary introduced the call-in topic.

The fan-favourite presenter was speaking to astrologer Hagan Fox, who regularly appears on the ITV show, and wanted to know what to expect.

But as he spoke of self love, Alison, 48, interrupted and said: "What are you gonna help us with Hagan?

"Get to the point, man, tell me everything."

Hagan then explained: "Today, phone in, anything you wish – work, love, relocation.

"Any topic you wish, but don't forget the theme of self love."

Alison, seemingly happy with the answer, said: "Oh yeah, love a bit of self love."

The fan-favourite presenter might have wanted to hurry things along so she could have more time to focus on her newly announced role.

Sharing a photo of her all dressed up in her sparkling costume, Alison told her followers: "Can not wait for this!"

Her fans were seriously excited, with one writing: "Amazing! You will be brilliant."

Another said: "Congratulations Alison this is great!"

A third told her they "can't wait" to go and see it.

While many others shared in her excitement.

But she's not the only famous face to be appearing in the festive pantomime, as EastEnders legend Samantha Womack will be playing Mrs Blunderbore, who is the giant's evil wife.
