ALONE viewers were left fearing a contestant would 'get sepsis' after he gave himself a tattoo.

The latest episode of the Channel 4 survival show aired on Sunday night as viewers caught up with the remaining hopefuls.


The Alone cast are dropped in the remote wilderness and tasked with fending for themselves and are completely alone.

The last person standing will bag the £100,000 prize fund.

During Sunday's episode viewers watched as Louie gave himself a tattoo – using a fish bone and charcoal.

The stomach-churning scenes saw the 28-year-old builder ink his left arm, alongside his existing tattoos.

But viewers at home were left concerned for his welfare – with some fearing he could get sepsis.

One said: "I don’t think giving yourself a tattoo using a fish bone is a very good idea…"

A second wrote: "A charcoal tattoo cut with a pike’s head. Should make his body easy to identify after gangrene sets in."

"Just inviting a dose of sepsis," said a third.

While a fourth commented: "I had fish tooth tattoo once. Got it backpacking Indonesia in the 90s. Unfortunately I had to get rid of it due to my arm being amputated a few weeks later due to the infection."
