THOMAS King has been keen for his relationship with Belle Dingle to move forward.
However, the Emmerdale hunk played by James Chase realises they're not on the same page when she makes a brutal admission.
Tom rocked up the ITV Dales earlier this year after a decade in Saudi Arabia with his mother and sister.
Upon his return, he immediately reconnected with his former girlfriend Belle Dingle (portrayed by Eden Taylor-Draper) and things between the pair have since been moving fast.
Ready to prove his commitment to her, Tom suggested they move in together.
However, in scenes airing next week, his excitement is dashed in one comment when Belle tells him she can't move in with him just yet.

This follows a series of issues emerging in the relationship as Tom has displayed some troubling behaviour.
The couple have had several rows in recent scenes of the long-running drama with Belle suspecting Tom of keeping things from her.

Tom's shifty attitude took a turn several weeks ago when he was viciously attacked and his flashy car was stolen.
While Belle insisted on him reporting the incident to the authorities, Tom was less than willing to do so and even refused to be taken to hospital for his injuries.
Despite her beau being keen to keep the attack under wraps, Belle refused to keep schtum and eventually told his uncle Jimmy King about everything.
Jimmy confronted his nephew for keeping the assault a secret which, in turn, left Belle to deal with a furious Tom who maintained she should have remained quiet.
Tom's sudden change of personality has left fans wondering if he could end up taking his anger out on Belle and show off his true colours as his father Carl once did.
"I think Tom will start abusing Belle", one viewer wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"What is wrong with the awful Tom? He’s being all blokey and macho. Be careful of men like that Belle", a second fan warned.
