Bob Hope worries for his future as Bernice's lies are exposed in Emmerdale | The Sun

THE future of the B&B is on the line next week and Bob Hope grows increasingly concerned.

It all stems from Emmerdale schemer Bernice Blackstock who has been keeping secrets from those closest to her in the village.

Bob Hope (played by Tony Audenshaw) embarked on a new business venture this year when Eric Pollard decided to leave the Grange in the care of someone else.

Keen to lead things at the B&B, Bob agreed to take over with help from Bernice Blackstock but their partnership was rocky from the start.

As months flew by, however, the pair grew closer and almost began an affair as Bob recognised he was attracted to the fiery redhead.

But in scenes airing next week, their relationship is due for another setback while Bernice is sabotaging Bob's future in the B&B.

Soap icon Samantha Giles has been tipped to leave the ITV show and her exit scenes seem to have officially begun.

The Maidstone star first showed up in the eponymous village in 1998, after a short stint in Coronation Street, and left four years later.

Samantha has been an on-off resident of the Dales since 1998 and reappeared in the program in 2004 and 2012, before making a more permanent return in 2021.

But how will her fourth exit from the show play out on our screens?

Bernice Blackstock is treating herself to expensive purchases but it has become clear that she is keeping a massive secret.

Coming up next week, Bernice's secret finance woes catch up with her and her family.

Jimmy King (played by Nick Miles) is shocked and furious as he discovers enforcement agents have seized their belongings due to a fraudulent £20k debt.

Bernice is unveiled as the culprit but she's seemingly on the run to avoid repercussions.

Meanwhile, her business partner Bob Hope is aghast to learn she has neglected to pay suppliers.

Making matters worse, her daughter Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham), with whom she worked hard to have a healthy relationship, is crestfallen over her mother's abandonment – again.

Jimmy confronts his wife Nicola (Nicola Wheeler), calling out her reluctance to report Bernice's fraud.

However, Cathy Hope (Gabrielle Dowling) raises suspicions due to her casual attitude and Nicola is determined to find her sister.

Unbeknownst to anybody, Bernice is hiding out in Brook Cottage, fearing prison if Nicola reports her.

Cathy secretly updates Bernice on the reaction to her behaviour in the outside world.

Before long, Nicola finds her and blocks her escape, but at the last moment, Bernice stays.
