Bobby Brazier worries fans as they blame one thing for Strictly dance-off

Strictly Come Dancing fans have shared their concerns for Bobby Brazier and reckon they've worked out why he ended up in the dance-off.

The glitzy BBC One show returned to screens on Sunday night (November 19) for its pre-recorded results show. However, viewers were left gutted when it was revealed that Bobby was in the bottom two.

The previous night, Bobby and pro partner Dianne Buswell performed a Jive to Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go by Wham! Their routine did well with the judges who awarded them 35 points, leaving them third on the leaderboard.

Unfortunately for the dancing duo, their performance wasn't enough to save them in the public vote. Bobby and Dianne had to face the dreaded dance-off opposite Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington.

Both couples took to the dance floor once more to perform their dance. However, the judges ultimately saved Bobby and gave Angela the chop.

As expected, fans were not happy that Bobby ended up in the dance-off. Over on X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer said: “I’m so sad for Bobby.”

Someone else added: “Poor Bobby – does not deserve to be in the bottom two.” A third quipped: “Somebody had to be up against Angela R. Poor Bobby drew the short straw but if there is any justice he should be saved – unless it’s completely fixed.”

However other fans reckon they have rumbled why he ended up in the bottom two. On X, plenty claimed it was down to the four judges under-marking him.

One viewer mused: “The correct result but I'm very shocked about Bobby being the bottom two. His Jive was brilliant. Although it looks like the judges underscoring him is starting to have an effect on his place in the competition.”

A second chimed in and penned: “Personally, I felt Bobby was under-marked, and if he'd not been first, he probably would have gotten a little higher. Nigel made mistakes like Angela R, so I think it'd be a great dance-off for them to show how it should have been done.”

Another viewer wrote: “How on Earth he was in the dance-off is beyond me. One of the best of the night!!!!! I can’t stress this enough we need to be voting for Bobby and Dianne hard next week, all votes to them. The under-marked scores from the judges don’t help either!"
