Furious at seeing Michael attacked, Ronnie proposes the idea they call the police to arrest Dean.

Cassie begs them not to, wanting to get away from her past life of crime.

Later on, Michael admits to Ronnie that incidents like that happen all the time when Aggie (Lorna Laidlaw) is on shift at the hospital.

Shocked, Ronnie decides to use this information to his advantage to manipulate Ed to go in on a new business deal with him which would enable Aggie to retire safely.

Although he was hesitant to go agree to Ronnie’s proposal initially, could Ed change his mind if it meant his wife would be out of harm’s way at the hospital?

Elsewhere, Ronnie speaks to Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) and confesses he took her advice and bought the Newton & Ridley shares with the money from the Tavern Mews project.

Thrilled that her family is starting a new business in Weatherfield, Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) offers to help with the admin and accounts.

When Dee-Dee offers to help out with the admin and the accounts for their new business, Ed’s delighted whilst Ronnie masks his panic.

Elsewhere in Weatherfield, there could be more trouble on the way for Cassie after she lied to her son Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) about her whereabouts.

She told Tyrone she was going to the Citizens’ Advice Bureau to start looking for somewhere to stay, when in fact she had gone to see drug dealer Dean, which is when Michael saw her fall.

Knowing how violent Dean is, along with her owing money, what lengths is Cassie willing to go to in order to keep him away from her family?

Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV from 8pm.
