Coronation Street fans baffled as they spot major blunder in Tim death scene

Coronation Street viewers were left scratching their heads after a blunder saw Tim Metcalfe changing positions even though he was apparently dead.

Gripping scenes on the cobbles this week saw twisted killer Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) attack Tim (Joe Duttine), who he knew had been spying on him. Tim was trying to get to the police after spotting a body in floating in the canal when he was accosted by Stephen in his car.

The pair started brawling, with Tim fighting for his life. But Stephen got the upper hand and managed to strangle Tim with a shoelace before whacking him over the head with a metal bar as he made a run for it.

Tim ended up sprawled across the floor, dead or at the very least unconscious. But eagle-eyed fans of the ITV soap reckon they spotted something slightly odd.

The character was on the ground with his legs slightly apart at first. But when the camera panned back to him, it seems his legs were in a totally different position, and that he'd crossed them.

Many people flocked to X, formerly Twitter, to express their confusion. "The lack of continuity over Tim’s fall position, lands sprawled, then in the next his ankles are neatly crossed," one person posted.

Another exclaimed: "But he moved! Crossing his legs?" Someone else laughed: "He goes down with one leg straight and the other at an angle, pans to Stephen and then when it goes back to Tim his feet are crossed."

One fan said the gaffe was "so funny". Another perplexed viewer said: "Tim's legs though."

Many viewers have also been talking about how gutted they will be if it turns out that Tim has actually died. The last viewers saw of him was Stephen shoving him in the boot of his cab then dumping him in the woods.

And many viewers reckon he could actually have survived the vicious attack. One posted: "Do you think that he's still alive? Please let him be alive, I really like Tim." Someone else said: "I have a hunch that Tim is still alive. Don’t think they’d kill him off…"

Another Corrie fan joked: "Tim better be alive in the next episode or I'm suing."
