Coronation Street fans horrified by ‘disgusting’ twist amid Daisy’s stalker hell

Coronation Street fans were left horrified by a "disgusting" twist for poor old Daisy Midgeley on Wednesday night as she continues to be stalked by Justin on the ITV soap

During the latest episode, Daisy, played by Charlotte Jordan, was bombarded with a string of texts from Justin as he continues to make her life a misery.

An emotional Daisy showed her fiancé Daniel Osbourne the messages and he was left concerned as Justin appeared to send a death threat.

Taking action, Daniel insisted they were going straight to the police station as he wasn't taking any chances after Justin's sinister text.

However, upon speaking to PC Scott, the police officer played down Justin's terrifying behaviour, saying they will fill out a report but: "Until he [Justin] commits a crime, there is nothing more we can do!"

And things went from bad to worse at the end of the episode as Daisy's phone flashed once more as she thought it was Justin but instead it was PC Scott liking all of her past holiday snaps.

Feeling hopeless, Daisy told a horrified Daniel: "This just gets worse and worse…"

Soap watchers were left horrified over the twist as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One person said: "The police action took after daisy complaint is disgusting.. so the police are saying till justin starts hitting her or actually throws acid which he does the police will do something. Bit late then isn’t it. Appalling from the police #Corrie."

A different account put: "What a disgusting thing to do to an already traumatised girl. #corrie."

Another follower wrote: "The policeman following and liking all of daisy's photos #Corrie" with shocked emojis.

While a different viewer added: "@itvcorrie I HATE this stalking storyline with Daisy. Wish it would end. Makes me feel sick. #corrie."
