Coronation Street: Evelyn and Cassie
Aadi Alahan (played by Adam Hussein) had hoped to make a good impression on businessman Darren Vance but instead he ended up falling for his wife Courtney (Stephanie Davis).
Over the past few weeks, the pair have enjoyed a steamy affair but they will be found out by Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) in scenes which air next week.
For now, Courtney has kept a relatively low profile on Coronation Street but fans think it’s about to revealed she is connected to another newcomer.
Soap fans are convinced Courtney is related to Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney), who recently arrived and revealed she was Tyrone Dobbs’ (Alan Halsall) real mum.

Taking to Twitter to theorise about Courtney, one viewer suggested: “Courtney is definitely cassies daughter I can tell it’s funny how they haven’t bumped into each other yet.”
“That would be a funny twist to this storyline!!” another fan replied.
If Courtney is revealed to be linked to Cassie, it would cause huge repercussions for many residents of Weatherfield.
A link between Courtney and Cassie isn’t the only fan theory to circulate online as viewers have also guessed she could take over the Rovers Return.
Actress Stephanie even addressed the theory, confirming her character has all the skills needed to be landlady.

She told Inside Soap: “She’d be an amazing landlady.
“I think she’d love it because she could be involved with all of the gossip.
“Although, she wouldn’t take any rubbish – there’d be no drama going on inside her pub.”
For now though, Courtney needs to hope Dev won’t reveal her affair with Aadi to her husband Darren.
Next week, Dev and Aadi accompany Courtney and Darren out to a birthday meal where things get complicated.
Darren confides in Dev that he and Courtney are having marriage problems and he suspects she’s having an affair as Amy listens in.
With the celebratory lunch underway, Amy warns Aadi that Darren knows Courtney is playing away.
When Dev reveals that Aadi’s got a new girlfriend, Darren, Courtney and Amy are all ears as he describes her as beautiful, funny and intelligent.
With Dev and Darren distracted, Aadi follows Courtney out where they share a kiss leaving Dev gobsmacked to find his son in a passionate clinch with the boss’ wife!
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV at 8pm.
