‘I was on Love Island six weeks ago, but now I’m a delivery driver after snub’

Love Island's George Fensom was the first man axed from the summer 2023 series.

The reality star had been hit with a lot of controversy before going in after his ex girlfriend made some damning claims about his behaviour, which his family have since denied.

Since coming out the villa, George did the usual interviews on Love Island Aftersun and Love Island The Morning After, but now he's working as a delivery driver.

Speaking to Johnny Seifert on Secure The Insecure Podcast, George confessed he's spending his time delivering parcels after not being able to land opportunities after his exit.

George said on the podcast that he didn't feel he had an opportunity to have his Love Island experience before being given the boot.

He added that there have been a handful of classic interviews which the islanders do after leaving the villa, like with Closer Magazine and HeatWorld, which he said he hasn't done.

The axed islander said: "I think maybe like way up top they might be like, it's better to just try and forget about this guy,'" adding he would have liked to have some opportunities after his exit.

A lot of islanders do find themselves a representative after their axe which also support in landing interviews.

George has since found himself a new job in a bid to keep himself busy, adding he's taking a step back form his phone and delivering parcels instead.

He said: "The main reason I went for the role was because it keeps me out and about in fresh air and walking. The last thing I needed to do after coming back from the show was to be sat behind the desk.

"As much as I love my old job, I think so soon after Love Island, I didn't really want to do that."

He also explained that he's been keeping his social life quite tame and hasn't been going to many showbiz events, adding that he needs to earn money, so has been continuing to work instead.
