Coronation Street’s Courtney Vance (played by Stephanie Davis) played a dangerous game during tonight’s episode as she tried to make Darren Vance (Ryan Early) jealous, but got caught in the crossfire of Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove).

Bernie has her ways of causing more drama than needed sometimes, but when it comes to her boyfriend Dev Alahan’s (Jimmi Harkishin) family matters she tends to stay out of the way.

However, in recent scenes, she pulled Courtney to the side and gave her a stern warning to not mess Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) around.

Courtney and Aadi recently decided to move in together and broke the news to Dev, Bernie, and Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey).

Sitting down for breakfast, Aadi admitted that he didn’t have enough for the deposit which left Asha to suggest he sell his playstation.

Boxing it up, Courtney suggested that she sell her engagement and wedding ring before telling Aadi that they go to the Bistro to celebrate their move.

However, as they walked into the restaurant, it became clear that Courtney had an ulterior motive and crashed one of Darren’s clients’ birthday celebrations.

Sitting down at the table, Darren made sure to sit in front of Courtney, which she lapped up and was all over Aadi.

He quickly noticed that Courtney was looking across at Darren the whole time and asked whose benefit it was for.

Paranoid, Darren accused the pair of them of talking about him, to which Courtney snapped back: “Why would I be? I don’t give a monkey’s about you.”

After winding him up, Courtney suggested that they go furniture shopping and after overhearing the conversation, Darren was furious.

He slammed: “As if you would give me a coronary you silly cow.”

Bernie cooled the situation down but couldn’t help but notice Courtney smiling through the whole thing as if she wanted the pair of them to fight over her.

Before leaving, Bernie caught Courtney and warned: “I wasn’t sticking up for you, I was sticking up for Aadi.

“Listen, princess, I have got your card marked. It means you are using that lad when you clearly have still got feelings for your ex.”

Has Bernie caught Courtney and her game plan out? Will she be able to warn Aadi off her before it is too late?

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
