Coronation Street’s Stephanie Davis teases twist for Courtney Vance

Stephanie Davis discusses Coronation Street theories

Coronation Street star Stephanie Davis has teased there could be a major twist coming up for her character Courtney Vance.

Speaking on Tuesday’s instalment of This Morning, the soap star was speaking to hosts Holly Willoughby and Dermot O’Leary about Courtney’s current affair with Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain).

However, the discussion quickly moved onto a fan theory that’s been circulating online surrounding the new addition’s future.

Holly Willoughby asked: “Before we let you go, have you added in the fact that she’s going to end up owning the Rovers Return?

“You posted a picture of you online of you pulling a pint and then everybody went, ‘Oh my god’.”

Admitting Courtney looked good in the position behind the bar, Stephanie teased what could be to come.

She said: “It looks good, doesn’t it?! I could see myself being the landlady of the Rovers.

“There was a fan theory apparently and I did not know about it. I posted this photo and it went wild.”

“But, I think she’d be great.”

Currently, Courtney is involved in a steamy affair with Aadi as she’s hiding her relationship from her husband Darren Vance (Ryan Early).

However, This Morning viewers got to see a clip where Aadi’s dad Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) catches the duo in action.

With their affair now exposed, what will Dev do now he’s discovered his son is involved with a married woman?

Earlier on in the interview, Stephanie confessed she manifested starring in the soap when she was 14 years old.

“I wrote a poem in a little notepad that I had, I said one day I want to be on the set of Hollyoaks or the Cobbles in Coronation Street.

“My mum has always kept it on her bedside table, she couldn’t believe it when I got the part!”

The soap star confessed she was grateful to be starring in a soap she’s been a fan of for many years.

Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV from 8pm
