As Daisy Midgeley’s (Charlotte Jordan) wedding to Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) in Coronation Street creeps ever closer, her friends begin preparations for a hen night full of surprises, though there’s one that she’s not quite so keen on.

Daisy gets quite the shock in a new Corrie spoiler video when her mum, Christina (Amy Robbins) shows up and admits she has a surprise.

Bored in the empty pub, Daisy is pleased when fiance Daniel appears, with some post-night out gifts to help her swerve a hangover after what has promised to be a wild night.

Daisy thanks him for being so thoughtful, before immediately winding him up about his lack of a stag do.

Defensive Daniel insists that he is having a stag do, though Daisy informs him that a family dinner doesn’t count.

However, she soon changes her tune when Christina wanders into the pub, much earlier than expected, complaining about the lack of atmosphere.

She insists that she is here to ‘get the party started’, offending Daniel by referring to it as Daisy’s ‘last night of freedom’.

When Christina says she wants to give her the best possible send off, Daisy points out that they’re acting likes she’s dying.

Christina kills the mood by insisting that marriage is worse than death, before promptly rushing off to sort out Daisy’s surprise.

When Daniel infers that her mother has ordered her a stripper, Daisy begs to know if there is another space at the dinner table for his stag do.

She is gutted when he reveals that she is on her own, leaving her at the mercy of her hens.

What exactly do they have planned, and will it be what Daisy wants?
