Sneak a peek at next week’s Coronation Street with our picture gallery above, revealing an eventful set of outings for the residents of Weatherfield.
David Platt (Jack P Shepherd), worried sick about Max Turner (Paddy Bever), asks Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) to find out how his son is doing following his imprisonment, but he’s traumatised to discover that he’s has been attacked.
The hairdresser subsequently drowns his sorrows, before leaning in for a drunken kiss with Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon), who orders him to go home.
Maria relays the incident to Gary Windass (Mikey North), who finds David and Shona (Julia Goulding) in the Rovers and spills the beans, leaving Shona mortified as she hurries away – before later telling David that she’s leaving him!
Is this really the end for David and Shona?
Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce), meanwhile, takes shocking action to keep Carla Connor (Alison King) away from work, turning up at her home and spiking her glass of water, leaving her feeling woozy and disoriented!
Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) decides to call the doctor, worried sick about Carla, but will he get to the bottom of what’s REALLY going on?
Is it time for Coronation Street’s killer Stephen Reid to get caught?
It seems unlikely, given that Corrie boss Iain MacLeod has confirmed that it will be sometime before killer Stephen is caught out.
Elsewhere on the cobbles during the week in question, Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) and Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) share a passionate kiss.
