Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) is continuing her efforts to use Rick’s dodgy money for good in Coronation Street.
So far, she’s used the cash to pay for Abi’s (Sally Carman) legal fees and now, she’s tracking down her dad’s old clients and handing them a wad of money.
It’s a dangerous world Kelly is stepping into, as she doesn’t really know what her dad’s life was like when he was alive.
When Kelly meets Ross, it’s clear her rose-tinted mindset stops her seeing that he is potentially a man who could put her life in jeopardy.
‘She thinks she might be able to get round him and he’ll turn into a cuddly toy as soon as she shows him the cash’, Millie recently told us.
‘As soon as he recognises who she is, she starts thinking she should probably make her way out and leave the property! I think she thinks she won’t knock on that door again, but thinks nothing of it because she’s got so many more people to knock on. She’s just so gullible sometimes.’
With Kelly unaware of Ross’ evil side for the time being, Millie added: ‘She just thinks ‘that was a close call’ and carries on with her day like she does. This is the thing; she doesn’t listen to anyone.
‘Gary tells her not to do it and Aadi says it’s probably not the best idea, but she’s always right and she never learns, really.’
