Doctor Who star thought Bradley Walsh was ‘a t**t’ for walking off BBC set during filming | The Sun

A DOCTOR Who star has revealed they thought Bradley Walsh was being a 't**t' for walking off set.

The Chase host, 62, was the 13th Doctor's companion on the BBC One show.

Jodie Whittaker, who played the Doctor at the time, has spoken about her time working with Bradley on set.

She said: "Every day was him kn*bbing about! There was no line with him and it was so funny… you could pick on him, he can take a joke but he’s also there for you if you need him.

"There were so many times where he knew I’d be really struggling with my lines so he’d do something like he’d go make himself a cup of tea.

"So he’d walk off set. So everyone would go ‘oh we’ve lost Brad! Where’s Brad?’"

Mandip Gill, who played Yazmin Khan on the show, has also revealed she thought Bradley was just being difficult.

She said: "I didn’t know that. I just thought he was a t**t!

"He always used to bite his nails didn’t he and be on his phone.

"I just thought he's gonna have another meeting about The Chase."

The pair were reminiscing about working with the star for his programme Bradley Walsh: The Laughs on Me: My Classic TV Moments.

Bradley revealed on the show how he's known singer Robbie Williams since he was eight years old.

He said he met Robbie through his entertainer dad, Pete Conway.

Describing how they met, the star revealed: “Pete was the host and compare of the whole camp, he was like the entertainments boss…

“He said 'come down to my static'- because back in the day you had static caravans pitched all over the place and you could sit in them until you went on shows.

“And sitting in the corner of his static, watching telly, was his lad at eight years of age.”
