Eamonn Holmes brings GB News to a standstill over Ruth Langsford complaint

GB News: Ruth Langsford interrupts show with complaint

During the latest episode of Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel on GB News, Eamonn Holmes could be seen standing up from his seat while a crew member adjusted his chair.

“Maria, will you come in here,” the Northern Irish host asked while Isabel started giggling.

Eamonn soon explained: “The reason I’m standing up here, is we’ve had a viewer complaint…”

As crew member Maria made the adjustments, Eamonn quipped: “Right, Maria, you lower my chair without me falling off and killing myself.

“But the reason we’re doing this is because a viewer complained,” he continued as his co-presenter asked: “Which viewer was that?”

Eamonn quipped: “Her name’s Ms Ruth Langsford. And she’s phoned in to say she doesn’t like the position of my seat…”

Isabel Webster let out a chuckle before admitting she agreed with Loose Women host Ruth.

She teased: “Yeah but didn’t your telly wife already complain about it but you ignored me so I’m glad you listened to wifey.”

The crew could be heard giggling in the background as Eamonn lowered himself back into his chair.

He added: “If I fall off…. is it alright? I don’t know. Push me in, Maria. See people think these things happen easily.”

Speaking to the cameras, Eamonn shared: “Is that okay, Ms Langsford? Is that okay? That meets your requirements?”

Isabel couldn’t resist saying: “I’m happy so Ruth will be happy.”

Eamonn checked his appearance and looked at himself in the monitor, adding: “So my head’s got to be level.”

Once he was happy, Eamonn commented: “So you’re happy, my TV wife’s happy, my real wife’s happy, viewers are you happy?”

After the seating issue was resolved, the duo continued with the news programme.

Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel airs on weekdays from 6am on GB News.
