EastEnders fans predict chilling twist for Freddie as evil dad Graham returns

EastEnders fans are worried for Freddie Slater after spotting a series of worrying clues that he’s in danger following the return of his long-lost dad, Graham Foster.

Wednesday’s episode (August 2) saw Bobby had help Freddie arrange a secret meeting with his dad by pretending to test drive one of Graham's cars.

After finally coming face to face with his father, Freddie discloses his true identity and pushes him for answers.

Graham goes on to fabricate a false explanation for his absence from Freddie's life. Meanwhile, Kat, Billy, and Alfie are in a frantic search for Freddie.

Under Kat's relentless questioning, Bobby eventually gives in and reveals Freddie's location.

Back at No.55, Freddie's world is shattered when Kat, Billy, and Alfie reveal the shocking truth – that he raped his mother 18 years ago.

Following the dramatic scenes, fans theorized that Graham’s false story is a set-up for further harm to Freddie.

“Graham is going to twist the truth to Freddie, and Freddie will turn against his mum and the rest of the family,’ said one fan.

Another griped: “FREDDIE GET AWAY FROM GRAHAM HE’S A MONSTER – you’re in danger he is going to destroy your life like he did to mo.”

A third added: “Graham hasnt changed then, twisting the truth AND trying to set the groundwork with freddie to say that little mo is a liar.”

Long-time viewers may remember Graham as a familiar face in the Queen Vic, and one who befriended Freddie’s mum Little Mo Slater (Kacey Ainsworth) before raping her, and eventually going to prison for his actions.

On returning to EastEnders, actor Alex McSweeney said: ‘I was grateful to be asked back to EastEnders to reprise the role of Graham Foster as I thought it was important for Freddie Slater to be given some answers about his dad.

‘It was great to be back in Elstree and I thoroughly enjoyed working with the talented Bobby Brazier on these scenes.’

Chris Clenshaw, Executive Producer, added: ‘It’s great to welcome Alex back to the role of Graham Foster for a short stint.

‘Although we haven’t seen Graham for almost two decades, his character has been heavily linked to the show in the past year with the reintroduction of his son Freddie Slater, played by Bobby Brazier.

‘We felt that it was important for Freddie to find out about the circumstances relating to his conception so he can understand and process the identity of his dad.’

Elsewhere on the episode, Elaine devised a plan to motivate Gina and Anna to support their father by offering a £50 reward to the one who distributed the most promotional flyers.

While they dropped off leaflets at the car lot, Gina and Jay had a heartfelt conversation.

Gina opened up about her own experience growing up without a mother and offered parenting advice for Lexi.

This chat helped them move past their awkward encounter from the previous night. However, Gina felt unsettled when Anna brought up their late mother once again. Seeking solace, she went to Ravi's house to buy more cocaine.
