EastEnders: Cindy Beale story explained
Next week, EastEnders’ Anna Knight (played by Molly Rainford) issues her sister Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) an ultimatum over the search for their “missing” mum.
Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) shocked long-term fans of the BBC soap last month after the character was revealed to be alive and well, living in France.
She’d reunited with her ex, Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and their son, Peter Beale (Thomas Law) – but another plot twist also exposed her as “Rose Knight,” the missing mother of newcomers Gina and Anna and wife of new Queen Vic landlord George Knight (Colin Salmon).
Since then, nobody in Walford has been let in on the big secrets, but official spoilers for upcoming episodes reveal Anna will become determined to track down her mother and will have a promising result.
In scenes yet to air, the Knights are quick to question a disgruntled Gina when Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) reveals that there is £200 missing from The Vic takings.

A suspicious Gina soon discovers Anna stole the cash to hire a private investigator to track down their mum.
Horrified, she plans to reveal all to their dad George, but she soon changes her mind and Anna lies that she left the cash on the side whilst cashing up the night before so someone must have taken it.
Once alone, Gina gives Anna an ultimatum that it’s her or their mum, but after a heart-to-heart with Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) and Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier), Anna decides to go through with her decision to look for her mum.

The tension rises between the two sisters as Anna secretly meets with a private investigator to share information about their mum’s disappearance.
Sensing friction between his daughters, George traps Anna in her lie about the stolen money which forces her to reveal the true reason behind the missing £200.
George implores Anna to call off the search for fear she will get hurt before heading to the Boxing Den to find Gina letting off steam on the punching bag.
A guilty Anna later decides to call off the search for her mum, but her private detective calls and reveals he’s had a positive lead in his search.
Meanwhile, Bobby decides to tell Anna the truth about Lucy Beale’s (Hetti Bywater) death but she reveals that she is already aware of Bobby’s involvement.
Later, Anna accosts Gina and agrees to stop her search into their mum if her sister will agree to give up the drugs for good.
Will Anna stick by her promise or could the Knights end up finding out the bizarre truth about their mum?
