Kat Slater (played by Jessie Wallace) was not impressed when Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) turned up in Walford on her wedding day determined to stop her from marrying Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden). However, official EastEnders spoilers reveal he’s hiding a fiancée of his own. 

In next week’s episodes, Alfie opens up to Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) about his plan to win over Kat.

The teenager suggests impressing his auntie with a grand gesture. 

Freddie helps Alfie with an extravagant flower display which leaves Kat quietly impressed. 

However, his plan backfires when she learns where the flowers have come from.

Later, Alfie apologises to Kat and insists their friendship means more to him than his plan to win her back.

Will Alfie give up on romantic gestures and move on with someone else?

He invites her to the pub for a drink to prove his good intentions. 

Kat agrees but as the pair enjoy spending time together they’re interrupted by a mystery woman. 

She announces she’s Alfie’s fiancée and reminds him of their wedding which is due to go ahead the next day. 

Alfie tells Kat the woman isn’t his fiancée but admits he is engaged to someone else. 

He offers to bring Kat to meet his real fiancée and tell her everything. 

Will Alfie break the heart of a lover he thought he wanted to marry before returning to Walford?

Later in the week, preparations begin for Alfie’s wedding. 

With Kat by his side is there more to his nuptials than meets the eye?

As Alfie’s plans begin to unravel, Kat urges him to rectify the mess he’s made. 

Will the former married couple bond over his mistake?

Meanwhile, EastEnders viewers believe Alfie and Kat are destined to reunite.
