Emmerdale fans predict a double exit could be on the cards as the characters continue dealing with the aftermath of Al Chapman's murder.
Al (Michael Wildman) was killed in dramatic fashion last week after a scuffle in a barn led to 10-year-old Kyle (Huey Quinn) shooting him.
Wanting to cover for his son, long-running character Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) was arrested and has now been charged with the murder of the man who was having an affair with his sister.

Unable to cope with what he had done, Kyle revealed his dark secret to his mother Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson), who is now struggling to cope with the fact her son murdered her mother's partner.
While Cain has begged Amy to flee town with their son, Moira has insisted that they are better off remaining in the village, believing running away would be a mistake.
While Amy battles with whether to leave with her son, viewers have now taken to social media with their theories on how two characters could exit the show – but it's not Amy that's taking Kyle, it's his grandmother Kerry (Laura Norton).
One fan penned: "Aha! Kerry (actress) is on maternity leave… is her exit going to be doing a runner with Kyle?"
Another agreed: "Prediction Kerry goes on the run with Kyle potentially in order to stop him accidentally telling anyone else the real truth?"
While others have speculated that because soap star Laura is pregnant, it means Kerry will be the one that takes the blame for Al's murder instead of Cain.
One user theorized: "I have a feeling when Kerry finds out what has been going on, with the affair between Al & Chas, and Kyle shooting Al, she will take the blame."
"I think Amy tells Kerry takes the blame. She is just about to go on maternity leave so she has to make an exit somehow," echoed a second.
While a third penned: "So…. Kerry will take the blame for her Grandson Kyle and confess to Frank's manslaughter then leave to have her baby!"
