Emmerdale: Harry revealed as Chloe’s dad
Emmerdale actress Eden Taylor Draper, who plays Belle Dingle on the ITV soap, has hinted her engagement to Tom King (played by James Chase) is “cursed”.
In upcoming scenes, Belle decides to propose to Tom unconventionally by taking him to a secret location where they are greeted by Olympians Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
She blindfolds him, so he doesn’t clock on to where he is being taken out of the village, and they end up in an ice rink.
Tom’s a huge fan of Torvill and Dean, so he is naturally star-struck when he sees them in the flesh skating the famous Bolero in front of them.
Soon, Belle gets down on one knee and asks for Tom’s hand in marriage. After getting over the initial shock, Tom accepts and the pair share a passionate kiss on the ice.

Express.co.uk was invited on set as the scenes were being filmed before Eden and James opened up about the Christmas proposal.
Eden explained it took them “multiple” takes as they had to pull an engagement ring out of a Christmas cracker.
The actress, who has been part of the soap since she was a child, shared: “We are cursed, the ring is cursed.”
While she might have been joking – could there be some truth in her statement about the ring being “cursed”?

Emmerdale fans will recall Tom proposed to Belle earlier this year, but it all went horribly wrong after she rejected him.
In a moment of rage, he pushed Belle, knocking her to the ground. She cut her head on a coffee table and was left bleeding and in shock after the shove.
Tom profusely apologised and promised he would never harm her again – but was he telling the truth?
Eden shared: “I do think Belle thinks he is the love of her life. I think obviously it was a major thing that happened but straight afterwards it was so positive.
“So I think it was one of those things she has very quickly forgotten about. It’s just like, ‘Wow, I am so in love with you,’ and that is at the very back of her mind.”
The couple are set to tie the knot on Valentine’s Day, but will it all go down as planned? Tom has a dark past and used to be Chas Dingle’s (Lucy Pargeter) stalker.
Could Belle be in danger or will their marriage stand the test of time on the ITV soap?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
