Emmerdale: Manpreet apologises after Charles attacked Tom

An Emmerdale family is about to get another huge shock in scenes yet to air on the ITV soap. 

In upcoming scenes, Suni Sharma (played by Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana) struggles to process the truth about Jai Sharma’s (Chris Bisson) admission that they are brothers. 

Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) comforts Jai who is beating himself up about the situation. 

He’s left feeling uneasy when Laurel suggests he gives Suni time to come to terms with the news. 

Later on, an anxious Jai is relieved when Suni enters, ready to talk to him about their relationship.

However, ITV soap spoilers have revealed Suni and Jai are soon both in for a shock.

What else will the two men find out about one another? Could one of them be hiding a dark secret?

It comes months after Jai discovered he had been adopted by Rishi Sharma, (Bhasker Patel) with Rishi admitting Jai’s biological father was actually his younger brother Amit Sharma.

Jai thought Suni was his cousin, before realising they were half-brothers.

The businessman had been keeping the truth to himself, particularly after Rishi’s tragic death.

Rishi died earlier this year, with Jai telling his wife: “Dad’s body has been released. The coroner has confirmed the death as accidental fall.”

Laurel replied: “Oh Jai, I know you thought it was his heart so that’s a huge weight lifted.” 

Jai and Rishi had been on bad terms and he thought he was responsible for his dad suffering a heart attack. 

Jai added: “Yeah, it is, now I can concentrate on giving him the best send-off that I can.” 

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
