Emmerdale: Adam Thomas says ‘never say never’ to show return

Adam Thomas is the eight celebrity contestant confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing 2023.

The former Emmerdale actor and Waterloo Road star has admitted he “can’t wait” to get on the dance floor.

Speaking about signing up to Strictly as he was announced on The Hits Radio Breakfast Show, Adam said: “I am so excited to be joining the cast of this years’ Strictly Come Dancing.

“I’ve been such a big fan of the show for years, I can’t believe I’m actually doing it!

“I can’t dance to save my life but I’m buzzing to learn and have a good laugh with my pro.”

He also co-hosts popular podcast series Mancs on the Mic, alongside his brothers.

Soap fans will recognise Adam as beloved Emmerdale character Adam Barton, for which he won a TV Choice award for Best Soap Newcomer.
