Emmerdale’s Roxy Shahidi, who plays Leyla Harding on the ITV soap, has left her fans stunned after she shared a video of herself exercising.

The Emmerdale actress posted the clip on her Instagram profile and her followers couldn’t contain themselves as they fawned over the star.

In the short Instagram video, Roxy wore her long brunette hair up in an effortless messy bun and minimal makeup as she got down on the floor to start her workout.

She wore a pair of matching silky pyjamas accessorised with a dainty gold chain necklace as she looked at the camera and moved into her yoga moves.

The silk vest was covered in pink flowers while the matching pyjama bottoms covered her legs as she worked out barefoot.

At the start of the video, Roxy set up her camera on the side and stood back to address her audience.

She told her followers that they don’t need a yoga mat to take part in her easy, simple exercise for the new year.

Shahidi recommended a mat to be “easier on the knees” as she got down on the floor to begin and grabbed a cushion to support herself.

Roxy then put “her hands on her heart” and took a deep breath to focus “inward” on herself.

In the caption, Roxy wrote: “A little bedtime Yoga Flow, for all levels. Happy New Year,” with a praying hands emoji and a white heart emoji.

She then added the hashtags “yoga, bedtime yoga, yoga rox, beginner yoga”.

Fans flocked to the comment section and showered the soap actress in compliments as they watched in awe at her moves.

One fan typed: “Happy New Year lovely. I love your yoga videos, I try and do them as well. Can you do more of them please? Thank you,” with a kiss.

Another one wrote: “So beautiful. Happy New Year,” with a party popper emoji and a sparkle emoji.

Other followers gathered to gush over the actress’ video and called her “absolutely beautiful,” while another was “so glad” to see that she had uploaded a new yoga video as they have “been really stressed lately”.
