FANS of Frozen Planet 2 were left in shock at some rather disturbing scenes involving penguins during the latest edition of the show.
The BBC documentary series, fronted by Sir David Attenborough, has been entertaining viewers with a real and raw insight into what life is like to some of the creatures that live in the world’s coldest environments.
But while viewrs have been fascinated by the natural world explored on the show, some scenes were a little bit too natural and hard for viewers to stomach.
In one part of the show, fans of the BBC One show were told the secret tactic penguins use when battling each other – and it’s a rather unpleasant one.
The stomach churning scenes displayed the penguins projecting POOING on each other in full view of the wildlife cameras.
BBC watchers were quick to express their disgust and discomfort at the scenes as they rushed to Twitter to showcase thier reactions and air their thoughts.

Frozen Planet 2 fans shocked by ‘brutal’ killer whale scenes
One stunned viewer shared a video clip of their pet cat reacting to the eye-popping footage: “Her Meowgesty totally aghast at the penguins projectile sh***ing over each other on #FrozenPlanet2 earlier.”
A second shocked fan said: “Ya. I guess that's one way to keep others away. Shooting poo out like a water gun 😂😂😂😂 #FrozenPlanet2.”
A third added: “When you settle down to have a nice calming Sunday night watch of #FrozenPlanet2 and get hit with liquid penguin poo and neon petrel vomit within ten mins.”
Many disgraced fans were even put off their food as they admitted they could no longer bare to eat after seeing the unpleasant scenes.

A revolted viewer added: “Projectile poo and sick. Enough to put me off my slice of Viennetta.”
While a fellow viewer echoed a similar sentiment, writing: “I think I’ve just been put off my choc cheesecake watching those penguins shoot out that… poo? Water?? Random liquid??? All of the above???? #FrozenPlanet2”
The latest series of the show comes 11 years after the original in 2011 and follows the originators of the Attenborough franchise, Planet Earth and Blue Planet.
Frozen Planet 2 continues Sunday on BBC One.
