Gogglebox icons Sandi Bogle and Sandra Martin have been tipped to make an epic return to the Channel 4 show by AI.

The two TV favourites were the OGs of the show when they made their debut back in 2013 – when Gogglebox first started. For three years, the Brixton-based pals left the nation in hysterics thanks to their one-liners.

But in 2016, Sandi decided to jump ship first and left the smash hit Channel 4 show. Following her exit Sandra's daughter Chanchez took her place on the sofa.

However it didn’t take long for Sandra to follow suit. Just a year after Sandi said goodbye to Gogglebox, Sandra left the show too.

And now, AI has claimed the two TV legends could make a shock return to the show that kickstarted their fame and career. Daily Star has quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent “creative” tools Bard AI to see if Sandi and Sandra could head back to Gogglebox.

“It is possible that Sandi and Sandra could return to Gogglebox. The show's producers have said that they are always open to former cast members returning, and both Sandi and Sandra have expressed interest in doing so in the past,” the system said.

Bard AI then claimed their return could be down to the show’s loyal legion of fans. It explained: “Sandi and Sandra were two of the most popular cast members on Gogglebox, and they remain so today. Fans have been calling for them to return to the show for years.”

The program then noted how the pair would “bring something new to the show.” It went on: “Sandi and Sandra have both been busy with other projects since leaving Gogglebox, but they have both said that they still miss the show. They would bring new experiences and perspectives to the show, which could make it even more entertaining.”

However, Bard AI did reveal the “challenges” over Sandi and Sandra’s return to Gogglebox. “They would both need to be available to film the show, and they would need to be able to commit to the show's schedule. Additionally, they would need to be willing to share their lives with the cameras again,” the system said.

In February, ahead of Gogglebox’s 10-year-anniversary, Sandi told Daily Star Sunday how she’s keen to head back on the show. She said: “I think they will do something special. That’s what the fans are crying out for.

“And if it does happen, I would be happy to go back. Of course I would want to be part of it. I’m one of the originals. I’d just be me.”
