Good Morning Britain viewers fume over Richard Madeley’s ‘irritating’ habit on air | The Sun

GOOD Morning Britain viewers were left irritated by Richard Madeley on today's show after spotting his unusual habit.

In a debate about electronic tags on asylum seekers, Richard, 67, looked incredibly relaxed as he laid back with his hands behind his head.

Slouched back on his chair, Richard continued the debate with the guests and his co-host Kate Garraway.

One viewer said: "Can somebody PLEASE tell Richard Madeley to stop putting his hand behind his head and crossing his legs as he leans back in the chair For viewers it’s not a good look."

Someone added: "Richard Madeley…. lying back in his chair with both hands behind his head……. What a [relaxed] twat!!!"

But others were thrilled by Richard's appearance on the Bank Holiday Monday special, after his fiery exchange with Home Secretary Suella Braverman.

After she twice "refused" to give him a straight answer about her new police force plan, Richard said: "On behalf of the viewers watching this programme who may have been burgled last night, please stop generalising and telling us how great it all is in other areas.

"Please deal with these figures, two per cent, four per cent and six per cent. This is the third time of asking within two minutes, I want a specific answer please Home Secretary, not a generalised answer that everything is lovely.

"Now tell us what has gone wrong."

Viewers praised Richard's line of questioning, with one saying: "Fantastic by Richard Madeley."
