"Everybody else was from fresh so it felt a fresh start and I was just thrown into it."

Jon-Paul added: "It was really funny to get those first couple of scenes where it all unfolded. It was a fantastic way to start.

The hunky newbie left Tony and viewers gobsmacked when he revealed his true identity in recent scenes.

Since the bombshell. Beau has been settling into life in the village but actor Jon-Paul has teased that his arrival may causes for his family.

Speaking about Diane's reaction to Beau's arrival, Jon said: "I think with Diane, she's had such a difficult past few years with Tony.

"Beau arriving as Tony's secret son probably flames a few trust issues and now she's wondering whether he is the man she believes him to be, so whether it brings them together or splits them apart its a hard one to call.
