HOLLYOAKS star Parry Glasspool unrecognisable after losing a stone for a role in The Batman – but was only in the film ‘for 0.01 of a second’.

The actor, 30, is best known for playing Harry Thompson in the Channel 4 soap between 2015 and 2019.


Three years after his stint on Hollyoaks, Parry landed the role of Scared Drophead in The Batman.

The blockbuster was released in March this year, but was filmed between 2020 and 2021.

Parry shared a clip of himself practising his lines while munching on some brocoli and chicken in his dressing room.

The star looked totally different with blood shot eyes, grey hair and dirt all over his skin.

Parry told fans: "A little vid from backstage during my time as a Drophead on THE BATMAN….when i lost 6kg and was only seen for 0.01 of a second 😂😂 Still, what an experience!

"Also, dont do drugs kids – only fictional ones!"

Back in June Emmerdale fans spotted Parry in an episode playing Leyla Cavanagh's drug dealer.

He arrived in the village as Jason after being summoned by Leyla in her desperation.

Last year Parry welcomed his first baby with fiance Paije Love two years after his soap exit.

In the shot, the newborn sported a gender-neutral white baby grow with grey polka dots and an elephant embroidered across the chest.

Captioning the photo, Parry playfully penned: "oooof, finally!" in regard to the little one's arrival.

The happy couple got engaged in 2020.
