Faye Brookes has married her partner Iwan Lewis following a whirlwind romance.
Faye, known for her role in Corrie as Kate Connor and for finishing as runner-up in 2021’s Dancing On Ice, announced her engagement in January this year – and had been teasing her followers on Instagram with glimpses of her dress in the run-up to the big day.
Ahead of the ceremony, a source told The Sun: ‘They’re tying the knot today in the Cotswolds. It’s a traditional church wedding, then a huge reception at a posh venue nearby – then they’re staying at a spa for the night.’

Iwan Lewis, 34, is a Welsh-born actor known primarily for his stage work, appearing in West End and touring productions.
He’s best known for playing the role of Emmett in the UK tour of the Legally Blonde musical, but has also appeared in the likes of Stephen Sondheim’s Passion as well as the stage version of The Secret Garden.
He also starred as Bahorel in the film adaptation of Les Miserables in 2012.
Behind the scenes Iwan is the CEO and Artistic Director of the Barn Theatre in Cirencester.
When did Faye and Iwan meet?
Faye and Iwan were friends for 11 years before finally getting together, while they were both starring in the touring production of Legally Blonde.
Speaking to OK! Magazine Faye explained: ‘On day one of rehearsals of Legally Blonde, we’d known each other for a few years by now.
‘He came up to me and went, “By the end of this tour, we’re going to be together.” I was like, “Mate, no, we’re not.”‘
‘Emmett [was] the nerd who gets the girl in the end,’ Iwan added. ‘Sometimes art imitates life.
‘There’s always been chemistry, but we’ve never gone there until now. It’s been written in the stars from the beginning. I’ve never been able to play it cool and I let Faye know on day one.’
How long have Faye and Iwan been together?
The pair were dating for just four months before they announced their engagement in January 2023 – with Iwan reported to have popped the question on New Year’s Eve.
‘Faye and Iwan are engaged and could not be happier about it,’ a source told The Sun.
‘They have only been dating for a short amount of time but they are both sure they have found their soulmates in each other.
‘Faye has kept the news low key but she has been wearing her engagement ring in public.
‘They recently moved in together and getting engaged was the cherry on the cake.
‘Both Faye and Iwan don’t want to waste time and are hoping to tie the knot as soon as possible’.
Prior to her romance with Iwan, the actress was in a seven-year relationship with singer Gareth Gates – whom she also met while performing in Legally Blonde.
The pair got engaged in 2019 but were reported to have split in 2019.
Faye subsequently dated personal trainer Joe Davies for three years with the couple going their separate ways in July 2022.

Faye and Iwan’s wedding ceremony took place in the Cotswolds on Wednesday August 23, at Shipton Moyne Church.

The actress opted for a stunning gown which featured an ornate, embellished bodice with an off-the-shoulder design and a ballgown skirt.
She previously posted several pictures of herself trying on different dresses with a cartoon filter, captioning the post ‘Bridal Barbie’, in reference to Greta Gerwig’s recent box office hit.
Ahead of the ceremony she also posted an Emily Brönte quote on her Instagram Story in tribute to her new husband.
‘He’s more myself that I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same,’ she wrote.
