JACK Fincham has expressed his regret about an online row with his former future father-in-law Danny Dyer.
The Love Island star dated Dani for nine months after winning the fourth series of the ITV2 show.
After their split, Jack hit back at Danny for calling him a "f****** t***" in a foul-mouthed swipe at his daughter's ex.
Breaking his silence on their feud for the first time, Jack told The Sun: "That was such a silly thing. I just had the hump that he called me a t*** and I reacted like an idiot.
"I regret saying that now and that's why I deleted it. I thought 'oh Jack you absolute idiot'."
While in the villa in 2018, Jack was accused of having a poster of actor Danny on his bedroom wall.

His ex had entered as a bombshell to stir up trouble between Dani and Jack, who was a self-confessed fan of the cockney actor.
"I still watch his films all the time now, I love him," Jack told us.
"I love watching The Football Factory and The Business, they're my favourite films.
"I can't physically not like him, even though I've wanted to for saying that, but I love him. I like his films too much."

Although Jack hasn't spoken to Danny since his relationship with Dani ended in 2019, he hasn't ruled out a future reunion with the soap star.
He's back working as a pen salesman after opening up about his drug addiction.
But Jack has hopes of making it on telly – just like Danny.
"I still want to take up my acting career so you never know, I might be in a film with him one day," said Jack.
"I'd just say, 'listen Dan, I'm sorry for saying that. That was really stupid of me. I didn't mean it mate, let's get on with the scene'."
Dani is now in a relationship with footballer Jarrod Bowen and the pair share adorable twins together.
After introducing Jarrod to her dad, Danny he told fans: “My Dani has bought home some f****** t****. Sitting at my table on a Sunday, eating my leg of lamb.”
He added: “So I have softened – you can’t tell your children who to fall in love with. You have to go with the the f****** flow."
“And then she bought home Jarrod Bowen. I earnt him. He is a real amazing man.
“So yeah… if all my dreams could come true… all I f****** want is for a man – or woman, whatever – to worship the f****** ground my daughter walks on."

Jack replied at the time: "A t***? I've never ate a leg of lamb at your house.
"If you have something to say about me, you know how to get hold of me, so don't say things without expecting consequences because we know what happened last time don't we Danny Dyer."
