Im A Celebrity fans baffled as Nella Roses medical emergency is ignored by ITV show

I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! appeared to ignore Nella Rose's recent medical emergency on Wednesday, 29 November, with the ITV show yet to address what happened to the YouTuber.

Nella, 26, was rushed out of the I'm A Celeb camp on Wednesday morning after suffering a medical emergency. The YouTuber was taken to see medics off-screen, meaning she was then made exempt from Wednesday evening's Bushtucker Trial.

As they got ready to reveal the results of the public vote to camp, Ant and Dec revealed Nella had departed camp. The duo said: "Now, unfortunately, Nella is being seen by the medic, so she'll be back later, but it means she's now exempt from this trial."

They added: “So let's go in there and see who will be doing it." Nella was then nowhere to be seen on screen.

Fans presumed the emergency would be addressed in Wednesday evening's instalment of I'm A Celebrity, as the latest trial, which Nella was exempt from, played out on-screen with Nick Pickard and Nigel Farage taking on the challenge.

However, Nella's illness was ignored by the ITV show, leaving TV viewers baffled. Many took to social media to share their confusion.

"I really hate it when @antanddec don't keep us in the loop! Yesterday Nella couldn't do trial because she needed to see medic, but we deserve to know why! What went down?! What imaginary illness kept her from a trial?! #ImACeleb," one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

A second asked: "yeah is Nella gone now from #Imaceleb what happened why was she removed from camp to see the medic?"

Others have questioned if Nella had gone to see the medic in a bid to avoid the upcoming trial, as she has been voted by the public to take part in the majority of trials so far on the ITV show.

However, Nella's friends have hit back at the claims, branding them "unfair" and "untrue" in a new statement to I'm A Celeb fans.

One friend of Nella's said: "The idea that she was faking or trying to get out of the trial is unfair and untrue. It was a minor medical emergency, and it happened just before the show.

"They had to take her off to get looked at and couldn’t get her back in time for the trial reveal."
